Employees at Stucki’s Fremont, Neb., location achieved a significant safety milestone recently when they reached three years without a recordable injury.
The shop produces Magnus bearings and is a leading supplier to the world’s railroads.
The achievement was especially noteworthy in light of the many changes that have occurred at the shop over the past 18 months, said KATE TACNER, general manager.
“Our team welcomed colleagues from our turbocharger business that relocated here from Virginia and worked around the remodeling necessary to accommodate that move,” she said.
“We’re proud of the way they weathered the changes without complaint and continued to put safety first.”
Founded in 1885, Magnus was acquired by Stucki in 2017.
