Strong Joints, Stronger Runways

A rail runway is only as strong as the joints that hold it together, and Birmingham Rail joint bars are engineered to keep those connections tight, aligned, and dependable. Also called splice bars or fish plates, these bars bolt to the web of the rail in pairs, locking two rail ends into precise alignment for a smooth, continuous running surface. By transferring load across the joint and holding the rail ends level both vertically and horizontally, they deliver the stable connection your equipment needs while reducing the wear and pounding that shorten rail life.

Manufactured to meet design requirements and standard for crane runways from 12# ASCE through 85# ASCE, our joint bars give you a proven, economical way to join rail and extend the service life of your entire runway.
