We’re on the lookout for a high level Senior SIOP Manager to join our team! This role is for our Birmingham Rail & Locomotive division where we are a leading supplier of high-performance rail infrastructure products, specializing in track components and crane rail systems. Known for our industry expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction, we support a wide range of clients across freight, industrial, and transit sectors.

The Senior SIOP Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning (SIOP) processes across all Birmingham Rail sites. This position partners closely with commercial and operations leadership to align forecasts with budget objectives and ensure effective supply chain execution. The role plays a key part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, reducing obsolete materials, and ensuring accurate forecasting and planning data within SAP.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining the Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning (SIOP) process for all Birmingham Rail Sites.
• Work with commercial and operations leaders to develop an annual forecast comprised of purchased and manufactured parts to achieve the budget.
• Hold monthly meetings to adjusts forecasts based on sales performance, lead times, and inventory levels.
• Responsible for reviewing/reporting on slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Lead and mentor a team of Buyers and Planners, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Work with Supply Chain managers to develop supply chain agreements (such as providing a forecast).
• Ensure purchases are executed in line with the overall supply chain strategy.
• Manage inventory of Relay products based on stocking plans, forecast accuracy, and material availability.
• Maintain accurate planning data within SAP, including forecast inputs, minimum/maximum stocking levels, and lead times.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to support recruitment processes, training/development initiatives, and employee retention program.
• Accountable to uphold company policy and procedure and to ensure all safety measures are being followed.
• Coach and mentor supervisory / staff personnel to develop their ability to perform all required tasks.
• Proactively ensures that all safety protocols are followed as safety is a Core Value at Stucki.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Suppl Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Comparable experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or operations leadership roles.
• Familiarity with railroad industry products, especially track components and crane rail, is a plus.
• Proven experience leading an SIOP process in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, with SAP experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and focus on safety and quality.
• Willingness and ability to travel required up to 25%.
