Our company is seeking an individual for a Business Operations Finance Manager role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Identify and determine continuous improvement project feasibility and asset valuation
• Use accounting principles alongside process mapping to analyze and improve ERP system and operational workflows to optimize business activities
• Develop cost and pricing models for high volume commodity contracts
• Identify and lead improvement workshops (Kaizen) and projects utilizing lean process improvement methodology
• Structure raw data and build intuitive dashboards capable of identifying and analyzing sales trends
• Determine setup and tooling requirements for new projects based on mechanical constraints and ARR/FRA quality requirements
• Develop key performance metrics/KPI’s for trends, identify process improvement opportunities and develop reports to track financial benefit
• Condense and present analytics and metrics to key stakeholders
Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or closely-related Engineering field
• 2 years’ experience in the job offered or a related occupation
• Experience in building and utilizing data analytical tools and working with SAP ERP system’s finance and operations modules
• Experience in performing discounted cash flow analysis, understanding net present value, and applying cross-price elasticity for pricing
• Experience with general ledger accounts and financial statement workflows
• Experience with metallurgical and mechanical process restructuring and with American Association of Railroad’s quality standards
• These experiences may have been gained through previous employment, academic coursework, and/or academic projects and research studies
