We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax, Reporting, & Compliance Analyst to join our team. The Tax, Reporting, & Compliance Analyst will support A. Stucki Company’s financial operations by ensuring compliance with tax, reporting, and compliance regulations and optimizing the company’s tax, reporting, and compliance strategies. This role focuses on federal, state, local, and international tax, reporting, and compliance reporting, while providing tax, reporting, and compliance advice in relation to our manufacturing operations in the rail industry. The Tax, Reporting, & Compliance Analyst will work closely with the finance department to enhance tax, reporting, and compliance efficiency, adherence, and minimize risk.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, government reporting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Analyze and interpret tax, reporting, and compliance laws and regulations relevant to the rail and manufacturing industries.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations.
• Review and reconcile tax, reporting, and compliance accounts in collaboration with accounting teams.
• Research and provide guidance on complex tax, reporting, and compliance issues, credits, and deductions, specifically those related to manufacturing operations.
• Assist in tax, reporting, and compliance audits and respond to all authorities’ inquiries.
• Monitor changes in tax, reporting, and compliance laws and ensure the company adapts to new regulations and requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of tax, reporting, and compliance planning strategies to optimize tax, reporting, and compliance liabilities.
• Prepare reports on tax, reporting, and compliance liabilities, provisions, and planning strategies for management.
• Collaborate with external tax, reporting, and compliance advisors and ensure all related documentation is accurate and up to date.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant tax certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in tax, reporting, and compliance analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax, reporting, and compliance laws.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Experience with tax, reporting, and compliance software (e.g., OneSource, Vertex, CT-Corp or similar).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
