MARCIA TAURIELLA, vice president of global sourcing, was honored as one of 25 Women in Rail award winners for 2025 by Railway Age magazine.
The winners were chosen based on leadership, vision, innovation and accomplishments and were selected by other women leaders in the industry and members of the magazine’s staff.
“I was surprised and humbled to be included among this year’s honorees,” said Marcia.
“Any individual award is a reflection of one’s colleagues, so this is shared by our entire global sourcing team.”
Marcia, who joined Stucki in 2019, is responsible for working with suppliers to optimize cost and quality and position the company to deliver quality products safely and on time.
Before joining Stucki, Marcia worked at Union Pacific, where she played a pivotal role in freight-car and intermodal-equipment sourcing and led major change-management initiatives.
Award winners were recognized in October at the annual Women in Rail conference in Schaumburg, Ill., and will be featured in the November issue of Railway Age.
