A. Stucki Co. announced the appointment of Philip Pietrandrea as division president of maintenance of way, effective July 1. He will work on a transition with Jo Ann Cary, who recently announced her retirement as president of Birmingham Rail & Locomotive (BR&L), a Stucki company, effective in September. Pietrandrea joins BR&L after five years with Wabtec, most recently as sales director of infrastructure, a position he held since 2017. Previously, he served as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He also served in leadership positions for 10 years at Unitrac, most recently as SVP of sales and marketing and president. (Wabtec acquired Unitrac in 2016). Additionally, Pietrandrea’s rail-industry experience includes leadership roles with L.B. Foster, Koppers and A&K Railroad Materials.
