Severe-duty cushioned railroad car stop, CS-4. Uses the cushioning capacity of the tie and a wheel-bump feature to lift the wheel slightly off the rail to absorb momentum of moving car. Recommended for industrial spur tracks which do not require a bumping post but which need more protection than a conventional car stop can provide. For exposed rail track.
