The A. Stucki Bolt Seat is a cupped, heavy-duty metal washer seat designed for use in the installation of running boards on rail cars. Its shallow, dish-shaped profile distributes clamping load evenly across the mounting surface, providing a secure, stable seat for the bolt head or nut and helping to prevent loosening under the vibration and dynamic forces common in railroad applications.
Available in two sizes to accommodate either a 3/8″ or 1/2″ bolt, ensuring compatibility with a range of running board installation requirements.
