Birmingham Rail manufactures maintenance crane stops built to meet your safety demands. Bumper stops are fabricated to your crane and rail size and reinforced with steel plates at the point of contact, and every stop is made to order as either adjustable or fixed. Adjustable bumper stops clamp onto the head of the rail for flexible service that work crews can reposition as needed, while fixed stops bolt securely through the rail for new installations and safety upgrades.

For cranes with exposed wheels, we also fabricate wheel stops matched to your wheel diameter. These stops are equally well suited to rail cars in industrial facilities and rail yards, and like our bumper stops, they can be tailored as adjustable or fixed to fit your application.
