PITTSBURGH, Pa. (August 5, 2024) – A. Stucki Company (“Stucki”), a leading rail industry supplier, today announced the appointment of Ron Port as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Port succeeds John O’Bryan, who had led the company since 2021.

Mr. Port was previously President of the Aerospace, Defense & Marine business unit at TE Connectivity, a global manufacturer of connectivity and sensor products for transportation, industrial, and communications applications. He managed more than 7,000 employees and 19 global manufacturing facilities in this role and was integral in driving growth and productivity improvements.
Mr. Port was also previously Chief Commercial Officer at Kennametal and President of the company’s Infrastructure Business Group, with global responsibility for the advanced materials, earth cutting tools, engineered components and ceramics business. Prior to Kennametal, Mr. Port led Marketing and Business Development for SPX Corp and held leadership positions at Xylem Inc. and ITT Corporation.

Mr. Port holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
