This position is at our Magnus Inc location where we have been the leading manufacturer of traction motor support bearings for the railroad industry. Since 1885, we have served locomotive manufacturers and repair shops with axle thrust bearings, locomotive journal bearings, thrust washers and other special bearings in high-leaded bronze. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities throughout the workday as needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks while working independently or as part of a team.
- Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in conditions that may include high heat, loud noise, vibrations, fumes, and moving mechanical equipment.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Schedule:
1st shift working 4 10s: Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm.
